YVETTE MATHIS

Yvette Mathis was a vibrant woman whose love for life, education, and Jesus touched all who knew her. Though she completed her earthly journey on May 27, 2019, her legacy lives on through the Yvette Mathis Memorial Scholarship Fund. This $500–$1,000 award is dedicated to supporting a female student with the passion and potential to pursue higher education—but who needs a helping hand to make it possible.

 

Through this scholarship, we honor Yvette’s faith, strength, and unwavering belief that even in life’s hardest moments, we are called to be overcomers. Her story reminds us that hope has a name—and it’s Jesus.
